The Eagle River Watershed Council wants to hear from YOU.
The Watershed Council wants to help you make a measurable change in outdoor water use. We do too! Outdoor water use is generally twice the amount as indoor water use and only about 15 – 40% of that water makes its way back to local waterways. The large amount of water used for landscaping purposes, combined with the small amount that returns to streams, makes efficient and conservative water use extremely important.
Let the Watershed Council know what your landscaping at home looks like and what kind of incentives and programs would encourage you to change to a more water efficient yard. The survey will inform future water conservation programming and when you complete the survey you will be entered into a drawing for a YETI cooler.
