Wastewater system maintenance in Minturn on Nov. 8

On Wednesday, Nov. 8, Eagle River Water & Sanitation District will be performing a sanitary sewer bypass in the Town of Minturn in the vicinity of the Highway 24 and N. Main Street/Rail Road Avenue intersection. Equipment will be mobilized to the area beginning Nov. 7 along roadways and at 145 N. Main Street. Work will take place between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Nov. 8.

The only impact to the community will be traffic control in the area; work activities will require a lane closure on Highway 24 and N. Main Street/Rail Road Avenue (Bellm Bridge) with traffic holds. The timing of traffic control operations will consider morning and afternoon traffic flows.

Wastewater will be bypassed, or temporarily pumped, around a section of sewer main that crosses the Eagle River to perform maintenance. Sewer service will not be interrupted during this time.
