The Eagle River Water & Sanitation District is soliciting Statements of Qualifications for a Collection System Master Plan and Model Development Project. The District intends to retain qualified engineering firms or teams for evaluation of the collection system and facilities with the primary project goals to:
- Create a hydraulic model based on existing GIS for ongoing evaluation of the District’s collection system;
- Conduct condition assessments of critical facilities based on site visits and operations staff input to identify life cycle replacement needs;
- Evaluate capital improvements needed to meet future growth, reduce operational risks, and improve system reliability; and
- Develop a ten-year capital improvement plan to establish and document the timing, prioritization, triggers, and dependencies of capital projects identified by the master plan project.
The final deliverables will include a comprehensive Master Plan report and hydraulic model for future use by District staff. Statement of Qualification deliverables are detailed in the formal request for qualifications (RFQ) document upon request.
The District will host a virtual and in-person, pre-submittal meeting on Aug. 23 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. MDT, online and at 846 Forest Road, Vail, CO 81657. Qualifications are due by Sept. 10, 2021, at 5 p.m. MDT.
