July 30, Red Sandstone Lane and Sandy Lane scheduled water service outage

Work has been completed and water service has been restored to all affected properties. 

Due to entrapped air in the system, residents should flush plumbing lines using cold water faucets that do not have a screen until the water runs clear.

If you have questions, contact Customer Service at 970-477-5451 during normal business hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday).

There will be a scheduled water service outage for the Potato Patch Townhomes on Red Sandstone Road and properties on Sandy Lane on July 30, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for improvements to the distribution system. 

The map image outlines the affected properties and fire hydrants. 

Residences will be notified directly on July 26, 2024. 

To prepare for the outage, affected residents may want to fill containers, buckets, and jugs so that they have water throughout the evening during the outage. Water from a bucket or jug can be used for hand washing, toilet flushing or for drinking or cooking needs. To flush a toilet during a water outage, pour a bucket of water into the toilet bowl all at once (learn how with this short video) or fill the tank for regular flushing.
