At its May 25, 2017, meeting the Eagle River Water & Sanitation District board of directors will consider a resolution to replace a debt service base rate for a 2009 water bond. In its place, a 2017 water debt service base rate will be issued; however, the 2009 base rate will remain on bills through 2017, and customers will not see the “new” 2017 rate on their bills until 2018.
The estimated difference between the 2009 bonds and 2017 bonds is a savings of $0.53 per single family equivalent per month, or $6.31 per year.
The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. and the public is welcome to attend. An agenda and packet for the meeting will be publicly available on May 18 at www.erwsd.org/governance.
