The Eagle River Water & Sanitation District and the Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority bill monthly, for all water and wastewater accounts.
2025 rate changes will take effect in January
Water and wastewater bills will increase in 2025 for all account types. Base service charges for water and wastewater will increase primarily due to issuing new bonds to fund required water and wastewater system projects.
Rate structures will change for Commercial, Multi-Family, and Mixed-Use accounts. These account types will no longer be billed by Single Family Equivalent (SFE). Billing will be based on the account's meter size to adhere to industry standards and align billing with system impacts. These changes will result in more equitable and consistent billing.
Rate structures for Individually Metered Residential and Irrigation-Only accounts were changed in 2024 and will see water use tier adjustments from 0% - 7% in 2025.
The updated rate structures help spread costs across accounts in proportion to their impact on the water and wastewater systems as we work to address ongoing regulatory mandates, aging infrastructure, and diminishing water supply.
