Infrastructure Acceptance
Extensions, modifications or abandonments of, or connections to Eagle River Water & Sanitation District (District) water or sewer facilities or Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority (Authority) water facilities are approved through the District’s Infrastructure Acceptance Procedure.
The Infrastructure Acceptance procedure consists of three steps:
1) Construction Plan Approval
2) Construction Acceptance, and
3) Final Acceptance.
A description of this procedure can be found in the Standard Specifications for Water Mains and the Standard Specifications for Sewer Mains. Construction Plan Approval must be obtained by the applicant prior to any work being done to the District’s or Authority’s facilities and will not be granted until Inclusion and the resolution of Water Rights Dedication are complete.
The District’s Construction Review Team administers the Infrastructure Acceptance Procedure. This inter-departmental committee of District employees meets every Tuesday at 9 AM at the District’s Vail Office, 846 Forest Road, Vail. For more information or to make an appointment, please contact Fred Haslee, Chairman of the Construction Review Team, fhaslee[AT]erwsd[DOT]org.
