Ability to Serve Letters

Eagle County or local municipalities may require a developer to provide an Ability to Serve letter from the proposed water and sewer service providers to complete the development application.  The Eagle River Water & Sanitation District (District) and the Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority (Authority) will provide Ability to Serve letters to developers under the following conditions:

1) the property(ies) to be served are included within the District or Authority boundary, 

2) sufficient water rights have been dedicated, as required, and

3) sufficient system capacity is available to serve the proposed uses.

Ability to Serve letters will not be provided until all conditions listed above are met by the applicant.  All other terms and conditions of the service provider must be met before service connection will be allowed.  Please contact the District Regulations Administrator, Fred Haslee, fhaslee[AT]erwsd[DOT]org for more information.
